Email set up for Reckon Desktop 2023

All I have done is changed PC's, and the rigmarole to go through in setting things up again is just ridiculous.

Anyhoo I digress, now my problem is that I can't seem to find an answer for for help with email.

I've gone to preferences and set up my email (it's a microsoft 365 with my own domain), and I googled the servername Server: outlook.office365.com. Port: 995. It seemed to accept this, although when I tried to email an invoice, it asked for password (FYI I have tried with and without a password here) and then all I get is a popup saying "the email service you selected to use currently cannot be reached. Please ensure you are connected to the Internet before trying again. If this problem persists contact your email provider for help".

Can someone please help me, before I have no hair left?

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Regarding your query with the Email set-up, the issue seems to be of reasons-

• The Outlook is not set-up as a default app for Reckon Accounts to send emails.
• There are permissions issues and that is to be addressed by Microsoft team which could be causing this issue.

Thanks Tanvi, I have done as directed in the article (the first one). My domain is a microsoft 365 one through godaddy and I googled and it seems I needed to add Server Name: outlook.office365.com, Port: 995. And I still get the password pop up (which I can just say OK to), however the dialogue box next says the same "The email service you selected to use currently cannot be reached. Please ensure you are connected to the Internet before trying again. If this problem persists contact your email provider for help". However I am connected to the internet.
