Superannuation totals changing on payroll summary report

I ran a Payroll Summary report in Reckon Payroll on 27/06/2024 which was accurate except the Superannuation total of 1 employee was omitting one month of super. I waited a few days and today the totals are 2 months less of same employee. All other details are correct.

The superannuation report which opens in Reckon One is accurate.

I went month by month on the Payroll Summary (i.e. 1/07/2023 to 31/07/2023), and found super to be at "0" for July and Sept 2023 (on Payroll Summary report only, all pays showing correctly on pay runs etc), so reverted each pay run to draft, changed amounts, marked as paid and reran the payroll report. This time the super figure (incorrect amount of total less 2 months worth) was still the same even though gross amounts had changed!

I corrected these amounts back to paid without resubmitting to ATO as amounts haven't changed. The Payroll Summary super stayed the same.

Would you pls advise what to try next?

    Hi @Leanne_10124777

To clarify, do you mean if you create a payroll summary report in Reckon Payroll itself and compare that to a payroll summary reported created in your companion Reckon One book, its showing different figures when it comes to super for this employee over the same time period?

If you open an EOFY finalisation for 2023/24 in Reckon Payroll, it will show you the total balances for employees paid throughout the financial year and this will include balances from pay runs + any initial YTD balances added for employees.

If you create an EOFY finalisation in Reckon Payroll, does it show the correct balance for super for this employee?

    Hi Rav

The EOFY finalisation in Reckon Payroll has incorrect totals (2 months less), however the

Reports >Superannuation Contributions> [Report available in Reckon One] > Open in Reckon One Report -generates full correct superannuation amount

Hmm that sounds a bit odd but happy to take a look to see if anything sticks out.

I'll shoot through an access request to your book which will come through by email separately, if you can grant access that would be great.

Also, if you can let me know the name of the specific employee this relates to I'll take a look.
