    Hi @Alexis_8205419

I believe there was an update to the Reckon Payroll mobile app released earlier today.

If you return to the login screen (if you're able to), you should see a version number at the bottom. The latest/current version is 8.0.0.

Alternatively, you should be able to see the version number by going into Settings ➡️ General ➡️ iPhone Storage ➡️ Select the Reckon Payroll App from the list

Can you confirm that you're on version 8.0.0

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone! 🎅🎆

I'm on leave from 23 December and back on deck again January 6th.

    Dear @Alexis_8205419 ,

What model of phone/tablet are you using?

It's possible your model may be outdated and cannot update to the latest edition, or you are using an older edition and possibly skipped an update.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app just in case?

    Kind regards,

    Alexander McKeown

I have the exactly the same problem. However in my case I cannot install IOS 17 because my iPhone doesn't support IOS 17 IOS or higher. (Either does my IPad)

It would have been better if it gave the correct cause of the problem instead of some bogus message about the App version.

And it would have been professional for Reckon to warned customers a few months in advance before making my iPhone obsolete for their app, even though it works fine with every other app. (The timing is poor as well. Right at the end of the financial year.)

Seems like Reckon is demanding that I by a new phone every few years.

I am not going to buy a $1000 new phone so I guess its good by Reckon.

Hi @Allan what you're referring to is a requirement by Apple, not us and there's a lot more information available on Google around this. We have zero interest or benefit to be gained from an individual upgrading their particular model of mobile phone.

In order for our apps to be available on both the Apple and Google apps store we need to comply with their requirements and regulations and in some cases, that is a minimum level of OS version.

If you're unable to use the Reckon Payroll App, then I'd suggest using the full Reckon Payroll at https://payroll.reckon.com/ which is a better experience in terms of features and functionality than the companion app.

You can login using your existing Reckon Payroll App login credentials.
