Welcome back to another #TipTuesday! Today we've got a cool one for our Reckon Payroll users! πŸ™Œ

Recently, the pay run screen in Reckon Payroll received a major revamp to make navigation easier and more streamlined. Lets take a look at a few of the new customisation and navigation inclusions.

Customising the Pay Run List

You can customise the pay run list screen by clicking the Modify View button then use the toggles to turn on or off particular items from displaying in your pay run list screen. You can even reorder these items by dragging and dropping to your desired order.

For example, if you don't find the employee count column useful then you can simply toggle it off or if you'd like the Pay Period column to be first you can reorder it to be first in the list.

Customising and navigation within a pay run

When you're within an individual pay run, you can also add additional data fields using Modify View button.

At the moment, there are options to add First Name, Last Name and Employee Number to the in-pay run list info.

More customisation options to come and if you have any suggestions on other toggles that you'd like, let us know! πŸ™‚

πŸͺ§ A shortcut to other pay runs!

There's also a really handy shortcut that allows you to directly navigate to other payruns without having to go back to the main list screen. Simply click on the Pay Date button in the top left and a dropdown list will appear that allows you to go straight to another pay run.

πŸ” Employee Search!

You can also search for a specific employee within a pay run using the search bar, handy if you're creating pay runs with a large number of employees and want to quickly jump to a specific one.

    Thanks Rav,

Is there any possibility, in the future, to be able to print payslips all at once, rather than having to print each employee individually? We were able to do this in Payroll premier.

    Hey there @Stacey_6976885

Yes! πŸ™‚ It looks like this is planned at some point in the future based on this feature request. No specifics on it just yet as there are a few things in the pipeline at the moment but I can definitely see the value in this.

    Stay tuned.

I have put this suggestion in to Reckon a while ago. It would be of great benefit as it really is time consuming having to print off payslips individually.

I would also like to see the option to select multiple pay periods like we had in Payroll Premier. This is the feature I really want to see in Reckon One (I have previously requested this also).

    Cheers.
