Reckon Payroll has received an update today which brings in some important bug fixes to make the payroll process smoother and more reliable for our users 🙂

✅ Leave Balances Report showing negative leave balance for terminated employees

We have corrected an issue where the Leave Balance and Accrual Value Report displayed a negative total leave accrual when an employee’s leave balances were zeroed out, and the employee was subsequently terminated.

✅ Rehired employees duplicating in a pay run

An issue where a rehired employee was duplicated when manually adding them to the selected scheduled pay run in the Create Pay Run drawer.

✅ Fix for some new Reckon Payroll books being created without default CoA and pay items

An issue where some new Reckon Payroll books were being created without the default Chart of Accounts and default pay items has been resolved. All new Reckon Payroll books will contain the default CoA and default system-generated pay items.

✅ Beam batch submission error

Fixed the 'duplicate' error message that was displaying when submitting a batch to Beam where some employees were assigned to the same super fund but different fund products.

✅ Warning message when updating employee number

Addressed an issue where the warning message failed to appear when updating the employee number in the employee profile or during the employee rehiring process.

✅ ABA file format

Ensured that a downloaded ABA file is generated in the Windows (CRLF) format

✅ Admin permissions

Reinforced workflows to ensure users with the default Administrator or Payroll Administrator role can continue to access Reckon Payroll
