Reckon Accounts Hosted - Number of Entities

Hi all,
I hope you can assist. I have Reckon Accounts Hosted and just want to confirm how many entities I can open on my user licence. I can see online it references unlimited in the marketing information, but just wanted to understand if that is right? For clarity, I have 5 entities I operate on my licence, and need to open a further 2.
Thanks
Denise

as long as they are all your own entities I don’t believe there is a limit

Hi Kris,
Yes, they are all our own entities that run within our business. So it should be ok? When a co-worker called to check, the salesperson she spoke to advised that Reckon Accounts Hosted required separate licence per entity (not per user). This seems totally at odds with the information freely available online. Maybe they were just trying to make a sale!

Yes there has been some misinformation about this going around, but 99% sure you’re correct

I am concerned that if even the Reckon Elite Experts aren't aware of the change of terms and conditions, then how are general users expected to understand. Clearly there has not been notification universally emailed out or advised. When we specifically asked our Reckon contact, as to when the licence agreement changed and users were informed, he has gone quiet and refused to answer. We have escalated this to management but they also refuse to answer.

Im not overly keen
Surely if you didnt hear it, it never happened.
AFAIK there has never been a limit on the number of files.
It certasinly isnt highlighted when you sign up to the platform.
Pretty sure it isnt in any of the sales literature either.
I have clients whom have been using Hosted since its inception
If anybody knows about a change I think I would.

Also, if you have multiple users to multiple files does it mean you need double or triple the number of logins?
All the other online software charges a per file fee not a per seat fee on top of a per file fee.
Someone needs to have a serious look at the pricing of Hosted.
Either the per file fee has to be reduced or there should be deep (say ninety percent) discounts for 2nd and extra seats.
Of course it would be irrelevant if Reckon One had the full functionality we need.
Cheers
Zappy
