Hi Team,

I need to save a delivery dockets as a PDF file to attach to an emails. However, when I do save it (Save As - desktop) I can't seem to find it.

Am I saving it in the wrong place or is there another way to save the delivery docket?

Thanks.

    Hi @JEN,

When you are saving the file and downloading it from Hosted, do you choose to save as or is it automatically saving to your computer?

If you click CTRL + J that will display your downloads, and you can click show in folder to see where it's located.

    Thank you and speak soon.

    Hi @JEN,

If you are using Hosted, it might still be saving those PDF's onto the cloud.

Have a look at this guide on how to download files from Hosted onto your desktop:

    Hi @Lucas

I am selecting "Save as": in Desktop and then a subfolder I created to save the delivery docket.

Then I have to select it again to save as a download file to be able to attach to an email. It's a long winded process but it seems to work. It was an easier process when I was using Reckon Accounts Enterprise.

    Oh well! Thanks anyway.

The link you posted doesn't work. Could you please resend it in case there's an easier method to save and attach files saved in Reckon Accounts Hosted.

    Thank you.

    Hi @JEN,

That's a bit strange; you should be able to directly save the file in the sub folder without issue.

I'm not sure how the delivery docket works, but that part you will always need to send manually. But I am happy that this was resolved for you.

    Thank you.

@JEN The Reckon Accounts desktop programs (including Entetprise) are all installed & used locally on a user’s own PC. With Hosted, we’re actually on Reckon’s servers - the Q Drive & B (Backup) Drives - so “saving” saves in these locations by default. You can then “download” the file to your own computer.

If you choose Print to PDF (or even just the normal Print option with a PDF printer selected) instead, this will then “save” it directly to your PC 😁
