Change payslip email message - how?

Hi again Reckon team

How do I change the message in a payslip email?

I can see there is a section under Email Settings which I have added my own message to but this isn't working.

After the changed, Can you confirm if you created a new payslip and check if the message is updated or not?

Hello Nick, yes I did.

None of the changes I added under email settings have come through. It still uses what looks to be the default email message when the email is received.

I've had a look a this and you're right, the Pay Slip content under Email Settings is not flowing through to pay slip emails created in Reckon One. To explain, Reckon One's payroll was recently updated which you'll find more info on here.

The current email settings section applies only to the former payroll functionality. However, if you would like to have this feature, I highly recommend raising the idea here.

I appreciate your response and taking the time to investigate. Based on what you've explained though, it sounds more like a bug than something that needs an idea for your team to implement.

There's a section for payslip email settings in the book, surely it should just work regardless of the changes to payroll.

You're right, its not exactly ideal at the moment in that we're displaying a section in the settings screen that doesn't flow through to the payslip email you're sending. I'll see if I can have a chat with our product team in regard to what our plans are with that however I do also agree with @Nickiu as well, I'd recommend raising this as an idea nonetheless as we prioritise features/functionality that is voted on by our members.
