Reconciliation Reports since new Home Screen May 2025

Hi There
When completing my Reconciliations I print both reports "Summary" and "Details". I choose the "Both" selection to do so. For some reason it's only printing the "Summary" Report only.
I have to go in and do a "Locate Discrepancy" and print the" Details" Report.
Can anyone tell me if there is a glitch in the system because this is the first time the has happened to me? Reckon Home screen has changed and I think it's since the change it has happened.
I processed payroll last Thursday 1st May 2025, and it happened and I thought it was me doing a mistake but I've just processed Living Away Allowance and it's happened again.
Thanks so much.
Bec

I think the info in this post that I put together should help you out a fair bit in getting an understanding of using the new My Files menu as it covers a number of the topics you've mentioned - #TipTuesday - Where has the floating toolbar gone? Introducing the My Files menu! ✨
Deleting a folder isn't available in the new My Files menu yet but it can be actioned by accessing the classic file explorer and there's info on that in the post linked above as well 🙂
Let me know how you get on.

We have exactly the same problem. Has anyone found out how to fix this yet or do we need to contact Reckon Hosted?

Hi folks
Thanks for flagging this. Can you let me which browser you're using where you've noticed this occurring on?
Is there any difference in this behaviour if you try this out in a different browser just as a test?
Has it only started since the upgrade to RAH's new platform?

I'm using Firefox.
We are also having problems too:
- We have existing saved files and we can't access them. I'm having to email PDF/spreadsheets to myself and compile spreadsheets to compile documents.
- Since losing the little toggle on the screen and going with the heading at the top I can't go back and access the files previously made.
- When trying to open a new folder to save spreadsheets, it's not popping up on the screen, I leave this screen and then come back and the new folder is there but I can't edit the name of the folder which is extremely confusing so I'm just emailing all files to myself now instead.
I'll try opening in Google Chrome.

I've just opened Google Chrome
- I still don't know where to access previously saved reports
- As above
- I still can't add a new folder and edit the names. I leave the screen and then return to a new folder which I can't edit.
- An to my original query, I accessed a previous and it displayed both Summary and Detail reports. I'm thinking is should work when reconciling but I won't know until tomorrows payroll. (I'll keep you posted)

OK I found where our files are:
Click on My Files at the top
Then Click on Q
Can I delete a folder? I have to clean them all up now.

Awesome, Thanks so much. I'll just be using it on Google Chrome now until I have it working correctly. Thanks again.

Hi Rav
I just did a reconciliation on Google Chrome, I chose to print "Both" Summary and Detail reports and again it only displayed the Summary report for me to print.
I've gone in and clicked on Locate Discrepancy and retrieved the last report and it I chose to display "Both" and it has displayed both reports. From this I will print the Detail report.
So there still seems to be a little glitch.
Thanks
Bec

I'm using Google Chrome as well and it still won't work. Can you please look at this Rav?

Thanks @Rebecca_7630369 and @Grand1
I've just tried it out by following the process that Bec has outlined above and I can replicate what you've described.
Can I just confirm, are you 100% certain this was working correctly prior to the new Reckon Accounts Hosted platform upgrade or has it been ongoing for a while?
If I go back to Reports ➡️ Banking ➡️ Previous Reconciliation ➡️ Both ➡️ Display, then it generates both reports as it should be.
I've pinged the Hosted product team about this for some further insight as well, I'll keep you posted once I hear back.

Hi Rav,
It was working fine until the upgrade was done last week. It would always print both pages once you press print both and we had no problem but now it will only print one. It's annoying when you have over 100 accounts to reconcile each month and we have to go in to previous reconciliations to print everything.
Thanks
Alison

Yes Rav, what you've done above is correct.
Looks like Alison and I are both having exactly the same problem.
Yes it's only happened since the update.
Thanks.

Hi Rav
I've just done another reconciliation and did a few tests.
If I choose "Display" both Summary and Detail appear.
If I choose to "Print" only Summary transfers over to be able to print.
I have video of both. Please let me know if you'd like me to attach them both for you for reference?

Thanks so much for doing that Bec!
Yes please, if you could attach the screen recording of it here that would be great. If it contains sensitive info then can I get you to shoot it to me in a private message instead.
Cheers!

Hey guys
Apologies for my delay in getting back to you.
I reported this to the team a little earlier this month however they weren't able to replicate this. With that said, I was playing around with this as well because I did experience this and I think I may have found a solution or at least, workaround.
After you click the Print option with BOTH selected, the Summary report will open on a new tab for you to print. Once it does, go back to the Reckon Accounts Hosted tab and take a look at your address bar, do you see this icon?
If you do, click it and then select the option to Always Allow Pop-ups ➡️ Done.
The next time you select the option to print both, the Summary and Detail should open for you.
Would be keen to hear if this works for you.

Hi Rav,
Thank you, that worked for me, you just need to be quick when you return to the Reckon page after it's taken you to the print screen. The Pop-up icon goes very fast, I needed to do a reconciliation a few times to work it out.

Hi Rav,
For some reason it' still not working for me and nothing popped up for blocking cookies. I might have to look and see what the cookie setting are and somehow work it out that way. I do have a video of a reconciliation I can send you, if you'd like.
Rebecca
PS: I'm just about to leave the office so I might email it tomorrow.
