Possible minor issue with default Super Rate using new tool


Have used the new super rate update tool from V34 (2025) under Employees/Update Super. This seems to update the Active Employees and the payroll Super item to the new rate.
But, have found that the default rate that can be set in preferences is not updated and needs to be manually changed (Edit/Preferences/Payroll & Employees/Company/Defaults/Super).
This default allows any New Employee to automatically have the provided Super Item and Super Rate applied

I've checked in with the Reckon Accounts Hosted team on this and they’ve confirmed that if you've setup a specific rate in the Super Defaults window within Employee Defaults in Company Preferences, this does not update automatically when using the new Update Super Rate feature.
On the other hand, the super rate within the Super Guarantee item and the Default Super Rate % field in Company Preferences will update to the new specified rate when using the new Update Super Rate feature.
