Beware of using Beam thru Reckon One!

Hi All,
As the ATO Small Business Clearing House will cease operating mid-next year, I thought I would try using Beam through Reckon One as recommended in one of the online training sessions.
After a lot of setup, I eventually submitted my first batch. It seemed to go well until one of the employees' USI's was incorrect, so it was rejected. The money was returned to me.
That's when the problems happened. After playing around on the platform, I could not work out how to resubmit, so I rang Reckon One support, and they said it cannot be resubmitted through Reckon One and to call Beam and submit directly with them. I made contact with Beam, who said they cannot help me and referred me back to Reckon One. After a second call to Reckon One without success, I went back to Beam, who once again said they could not help and would reach out to Reckon One support for me.
TWO WEEKS later, I eventually received an email saying to use my "previous clearing house'!
(I had already done this weeks ago).
This is unacceptable, as for anyone using the ATO Clearing House, eventually we will not have another clearing house we can use when the details are wrong (which can be an input error, a new employee giving incorrect info, an employee changing funds and not informing us in time - all common reasons that payments can be rejected)
So for now it is back to my old clearing house.
If anyone has any recommendations for other clearing houses, I would appreciate hearing from you, as I need to find a solution before the end of this current financial year.

Hi there @Kelli
Sorry to hear you haven't had the best of starts with Beam and Reckon On for your super payments.
Let me try and understand what's happening here, after the rejection due to the incorrect USI, did you update the superfund details for the employee and then need to edit the payrun that was previously submitted to Beam with the new details as well?
We have an automatic validation in place which will check your lodgement prior to it being sent. Any errors and warnings will be displayed immediately, allowing you to review and decide whether to proceed with lodging, (even if warnings are present).
Separately, we've got a project that is actually being worked on as we speak to introduce a number of improvements to the Beam workflow from your Reckon One book, in particular the ability to address issues with your pay run after a lodgement has been sent.
I'll have a chat with our teams around this as well for any more info that I can share with you.

Hi Rav,
Yes I did update the USI for the employee.
You cannot edit the pay run - see message below, and you cannot cancel the lodgement!!!!
The automatic validation you mention did not pick up this issue; I did not receive a warning for this.
Both Reckon One support team members I spoek with went away for quite a while each time and then eventually returned and said they cannot do anything and speak with Beam directly - hence my issue as both Reckon One and Beam said they cannot help.

I received this in an email just now from the Support Team! What a ridiculous comment ' take extra precautions!
"I have double-checked with my supervisor, and they have confirmed that there is currently a limitation with the Reckon app. Our team is actively working on resolving this BEAM issue, and we expect to introduce new updates and features in the near future.
In the meantime, we kindly ask that you take extra precautions when submitting lodgments."

Thanks for the feedback on this Kelli
We're certainly aware that the experience in managing pay runs that require editing but have been part of a previous lodgement isn't ideal at the moment. As I mentioned above, we're actually actively working on improving this workflow at the moment and we're expecting these changes to come into Reckon One within the next release or two so its not far off.
I'll also have a chat with the team about the support experience in terms of the delayed back and forth as I think we could have done much better there.
I've bookmarked your post and I'll keep you posted on these updates to the super lodgement process as soon as possible.
