How do you delete a STP entry that has already been submitted

Unfortunately, submitted STP reports cannot be deleted. However, since STP reporting uses Year-to-Date (YTD) figures, you can simply make the necessary changes and submit the STP event again.
The new submission will override the previous data in the ATOโs records, as long as the YTD amounts are correct.

The ATO prevents this being an option due to their audit trail requirement ๐ however you can submit either an Update Event or Full File Replacement
However, STP doesnโt report each separate pay, it simply updates all YTD balances each submission. Therefore - providing it contains the same/new employees - your latest standard Pay Event will always reflect the most current data anyway ๐
