Are you receiving any specific error messages when your install gets interrupted?
Can you let us know what operating system you're using? eg. Windows 7, 8, 10 etc

Check that .Net Framework 3.5.1 is turned on in Windows Components of Programs & Features - directions are available here.
Also, please check out our statement on Reckon Accounts and Windows 10.
