User Interface - Click and Drag

Hi. We switched over to Reckon hosted about a year ago. Does anyone know why things like click and drag are so difficult in hosted compared to the desktop version? Drives me crazy. Often it will move a column instead of re-sizing when there are multiple columns, and I'm definitely waiting to see the right cross-hairs come up first. Have been using Chrome and also Edge as the browsers. We used to have local installation accessed through a server and didn't have this problem there, i.e. same computers and mouse etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply @Zappy
Just to clarify - Are you saying to me that 'it is what is is' and there is no way to improve the situation?

I havent tested this but that would be my thinking. Have you tried it on another browser? Edge is best in class.

This video is in Edge, and also have tried Chrome.

I am at a bit of a loss about what to do next. It's not an intermittent problem for me, it happens every time. I have made another video and sent it to the person who migrated us over to hosted. Maybe they know how to get the issue through to the developers as a bug.

I dont see that. It works fine over here. Have you tried clearing the cache?

I've got a client on a 2015 desktop version where this happens & the drilldown also only works intermittently. They're upgrading shortly (not for that reason) but I was confident those particular issues were due to the incompatibility between that old RA version & the fancy current hardware/PC they're using
... Haven't come across it before (in either desktop or Hosted) so would be good to determine if this is a known issue with a fix/resolution available @Rav ?

Might be the video card?

Haha the update to this is that everyone tells me I'm the problem for being too fast. My issue with that is that I'm operating the same as I did when we had a local installation up until a year ago. To be honest I think we will leave hosted and go back to a server install again.

@Michelle_RHealth My issue is occurring on a desktop installation, not Hosted π€¨
I'll be going back to that client in a few weeks & will be trying the following suggestions:
- Running the Verify Data, Rebuild x 3 & Portable File Restore
- Taking a Backup & restoring the File on another PC (to determine if the issue is PC or file-specific)
- If PC-specific, reviewing/changing the monitor Display settings &/or changing the program Compatibility settings (via the icon)

Thanks Shaz
Can I check are you saying to do the verify/rebuild process 3 times in a row?
Cheers, Michelle

Yes, thatβs correct - You can do the Verify just once but run the Rebuild 3 times in a row then Verify again after to check.
For some reason 3 times fixes a LOT of issues π
