Daily backup very slow since upgrade
Has anyone else had issues with performing their daily backup since upgrading to Premium Retail Edition 2022?
Where it used to take a maximum of 5 minutes to switch to single user mode, perform 2 backups and then switch back to mulit user mode it is now taking me a minimum of 15-20 minutes. I also get 'not responding' when doing both. It's also extremely slow to log in.

Hi Justine,
I know what I have below does not directly solve your issue. I have a small tool that can automatically back up QBW files at the desired time. It means you don't have to manually switch mode or kick everyone out and do it again and again. The only disadvantage is it doesn't create a QBB file but makes a clone of the QBW file.

Can the "Clone" of the QBB file restore data if required?

It is technically the same QBW file, so you can just overwrite the current one with the "clone" one and use it normally if you want to restore data.
