GL Codes in Reckon Accounts Hosted
I have a separate system that I wish to use to generate GL journals and import them into the Reckon Accounts Hosted General Ledger.
How do I obtain the GL codes associated with each GL account so I can put those codes in the other system?

There are no GL codes other than those you create yourself. Have you looked at the record layout of General Journal iif files? It's tricky but it's doable

Some systems use "Account Numbers" whilst other use the "Account Name" as the unique identifier.
The "Account Numbers" and "Account Names" for each account in the Chart of Accounts List can be derived by either viewing it in the Chart of Accounts List, or exporting the Chart of Accounts List to a tab-delimited text file format which can be opened in Excel.
From one of the other Community Support Posts where one of our Reckon Developer Partners has a tool that may be useful.
Essentially any journals you create in your 'separate system' would need to be transformed into a format like the one shown below before it can be recognised by the Reckon Accounts Hosted application.
