I have a client that wants to change from MYOB to Reckon One at the EOFY. They do not want to import any financial data but would like to import all their customers and suppliers ony. I have both of these as a comma delimited txt file, is it possible to import these to R1?

    Hi @Handy2871

Really glad to hear your client is looking to join the Reckon family 😊

While Reckon One doesn't have an import function such as what you've described, I'd suggest taking a look at our data migration service which can bring over list data (among other data if required).

You'll find more info about our migration service, including the current free migration offer here -

    Hii Handy,

Yes, it is possible to import customer and supplier data into Reckon One from a comma-delimited (CSV) file. While Reckon One doesn't provide a direct way to import financial data, it does allow for the import of customer and supplier lists.

To import the data, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure that your CSV file is formatted according to Reckon One's import requirements for customers and suppliers (e.g., including fields such as name, email, phone number, address, etc.).
    2. Go to the Contacts section in Reckon One.
    3. Use the Import feature to upload your CSV file for both customers and suppliers.

If the data format isn't matching or you face any issues during the import, you can manually adjust the CSV file to meet Reckon One's criteria or contact Reckon Support for assistance.

This process should help your client easily transition their contact information from MYOB to Reckon One without needing to import financial data. MMC Convert can assist you in migrating the necessary data ensuring a smooth transition.
