Reckon One - view all transactions for Product bought and sold

Hi everyone

I am trying to find a report that will show me all of the individual transactions for a single product Bought and Sold.

When I look under Sales by Item it is showing me the correct sale price but tells me there is a quantity of 67 but there are only 34 invoices and maybe 5 purchases. This doesn't make sense.

Ideally I want to be able to print off a breakdown of income and expenses for particular activities (items).

Can somebody help me out please? Or is it just not possible with this entry level version of Reckon? I'm sure I can do it with the Reckon Hosted version I use for work.

    Hi Andrea

The 'Sales by Item' report should give you what you're looking for or at least come pretty close. Its a tad strange that the figures in your report aren't consistent to your transactions.

Can I just clarify, is the quantity of the selected items in those 34 invoices total the quantity showing in your sales by item report or is there a discrepancy there?

    Hi Rav

Each invoice was only for 1 quantity of the item per invoice. It was a camp fee for each child (customer).

Am I correct in assuming that the final figure is the income less the expenses, because that doesn't seem to add up either. It's a bit confusing and I really need to be able reflect the actual profit or loss from these activities.

I was hoping there was a way I could see all transactions, both income and expenses, that are applied to an individual item. Is there an easier way than simply writing the actual item in the reference for every transaction?

I have the same problem… I would like to find out a list of customers who have purchased a particular item. I go to sales by item and can produce the report, which basically gives me item and number sold for the particular period, but I can’t then get into the detail of which customers purchased the item. I am using reckon one.

    Hi Tim,

The Transactions Line Item Report in the Advisor section provides full details from input forms with a line for every item used - and it includes the Description. That means you can only find via Description and not its Name. Maybe that will be sufficient for your requirements.

Its a big report but through Show more options you can remove the unwanted columns. Then export the report to CSV (or Excel) and use the sort features there to give you a listing by Description. You can delete lines and columns you don't need. Here's an example…..

Hope this is an acceptable workaround for you.

    Hi John

Thank you very much for the reply, I did have a play with your method and I think I can get to the information I want, however it is both a bit laborious and tedious to have to do it that way. I would like to use the sales by item report and then select an item and for it to show me which customers have bought the item in the selected period. To be honest this seems like a basic thing to want to know and I am surprised that it is not already included… would it be possible for you to raise the issue please. Thanks again and kind regards.
