R1 book in different base currency?
Hi there.
I need to implement book keeping for a small overseas based entity, whose base currency are CHF (Swiss Francs). No need to track payroll, just basic book keeping requirements. Would it be possible to setup a Reckon book in that currency?
It's quite obvious that some features will not be relevant (like BAS, etc..).
I'm using R1 for a local AU based entity, so I'd like to avoid having to learn another book keeping system…
Thank you.

Hi Mike
I'm 95% sure Reckon One can't be set to a different currency other than AUD.
It doesn't have multicurrency as far as I know unfortunately

Reckon One currently does not support multi-currency.
The currency is set to AU or NZ depending on the region.
Would you want to see the Swiss Francs currency symbol "₣" instead of the dollar "$" symbol without any actual currency conversion?
There are browser extensions like "Auto Text Replacer" which, can temporarily display that on-screen.
However, any printed reports or invoices would still show the "$" symbol.
Alternatively, if you are primarily generating reports and not invoices, you could export the report as a CSV or XLSX and perform a search and replace on the $ symbol.

Ok, thank you all. Yeah, I was thinking as well of replacing the currency symbol in reports, etc.. but I'll need other people to access the system as well and I'm pretty sure they'll be confused seeing the $ symbol in front of the amount…
Anyways, thank you all.
