Hi @Peter Chambers,
Below is a link to another Community Post that deals with exporting data out of a file.

So @Peter Chambers ,just to clarify for me and the rest of the 'Community', did you perform an export of your data to a QIF file? And, if so, were you able to export only the transactions you wanted to move to another data file (QDF)? Did you then have to perform an import to the correct data file (QDF)?
If you could lay out the process, step by step, it would be of great benefit to myself and other community members for future reference.
With respect, I fundamentally disagree with Gerry's approach of asking you to call him to solve your problem, as in most cases that he does this with subscribers issues, we, the community, do not get feedback as to how the issue was solved. If, in fact, it was solved.
FYI - @GerryWinter

hey mate it was as simple as opening the file I wanted the transactions from (I had already duplicated the file and deleted all other transactions I didn’t want to copy.
I then did cntrl+shift+q key then went up to export and QIF was now an option.
So I exported the file (you could chose which accounts and what date range you wanted to copy from)
I then opened the other file I wanted to copy over to and went up to file import - QIF and they imported!

I did this on my own file and it also worked for me.

I hope I don't sound pedantic, @Peter Chambers (and @GerryWinter) , but cntrl+shift+q, in your response above, should read cntrl+shift+Z.
Again, thankyou!
