Re: Superannuation Mapping to Expense Account
As Shaz explained, when you do the payroll the superannuation is supposed to be debited to the superannuation expense account and be reflected on the Profit and Loss, and also credited to the balance sheet item Superannuation clearing account which shows on the Balance Sheet. This will be cleared when it is paid. If you can’t see these I would go into the payroll items -Superannuation and check what expense account is linked. Sometimes a different expense account might be selected e.g. Payroll expenses
Re: Ytd FYI 2020-2021
FYI Nadiya- you posted this under the Reckon Hosted headline which makes it hard for people to help you when it should have been the mobile app
Re: fonts too small on bank accounts etc
The only way that I am aware that you can do something about this when using the desktop version, is to do this:
- Go to the Windows Settings App (hit the windows key and type Settings
- Go to Display
- You can say change the Scale and layout. You then have the option of changing from the likely 100% (Recommended) scale to say the 125% scale. This will definitely change your view for the Desktop version, but it will also magnify everything else as well, but this is workable, particularly if you decided to just use Reckon for a period of time to do your work. Just underneath this box you will find Advanced Scaling Settings where you can set your own incrementsa.
- You can also play around with the Display Resolution and see what that can do for you. Again, this will change things everywhere.
- There is also another shorter method which I have just discovered. Go to Edit> Preferences> Desktop View> and then under Windows Settings, click on Display. This will also bring you to the Display Settings as detailed above. To me this is a far better way to do it.

Re: Leave entitlements
As I understand it Kevin, the initial question has nothing to do with Fair Work as it focused on whether or not leave accruals should show on the balance sheet.

Re: Annual cap for leave accruals
Any unused Annual & Personal Leave hours both carry over however this wasn't the case many years ago so I believe it relates to that. As I said though, it is not applicable anymore so this box should be left BLANK!

@quyen Could be related to this update from Rav.
Re: After I input SALARY SACRIFICE FOR SUPER amount, the corresponding value will appear in deductions
Julie
What program are you using?
Your image does not look like anything from Reckon Accounts Hosted (which is very different to Reckon One). Also your comment refers to a Deduction Bar - this is not a feature in Hosted which again suggests that you are using Reckon One.
In which case you should post your request on the Reckon One board, where you will be dealing with people who should have a greater degree of familiarity with the program you are using.

Re: Final payrun for June 30 2021
Hi Kelly
It sounds like your file has already been updated so you’ll have to run the final pays in that one now. (There are no changes to the standard tax tables so shouldn’t really be an issue). You can also still finalise STP for the previous tax year in the new 2021 Hosted version.
NB: When you do, make sure you select 2020/21 in the STP window as it will automatically default to the current FY (2021/22) ! ☺️

Re: Update to 2021 freezing
Yes you are correct, just tested it, mine still does not give me the backup file name though. Good luck, sorry I have nothing to suggest
Re: Reckon Hosted very slow since update
Hi @loypur
There are definitely a very high number of users on the network at this time of year and we've increased the number of hosts to accommodate the higher load. New hosts are added automatically to the server farm if any one of them reaches capacity.
That's one element of it but the other can be your file as well. Do you usually perform maintenance on your file quite regularly? I'm going to link a couple of resources below which have some really good info on keeping your file in tip top shape so that you're getting the best performance out of it.
