update....found a very helpful previously posted article "STP report not balancing with RESC," that advised that apparently there is a glitch in the system that sometimes causes RESC to not record against the employee record. I followed the instructions, went into each payroll record deleted and re-entered the salary sacrifice, saved and that worked perfectly. Thank you to Shaz Hughes who posted the great and ease to follow instructions in that article x

Manually enter Superannuation amounts
I have migrated from STP app to new free Payroll App. I work for a church where the Pastors as Minister of Religion gets paid part of their pay as Taxable Income, which I report to ATO, and part as an Exempt Benefit which I do not report to ATO.
I need to manually enter a Superannuation amount as their superannuation payment is calculated on both pay components but in your new app it only calculates the superannuation on the reportable part. So the Super payment calculated in the app will never be correct.

Salary sacrifice differential between STP and Payroll totals
After processing the final pay for last financial year was preparing to submit the EOY finalise file and was comparing numbers between STP and my Payroll totals. I have noticed a difference between an employees RESC totals on STP vs my software.
After running a super report by employee have found for some reason on the last pay of the year the salary sacrifice deduction is not being recorded into RESC. With all other amounts showing correct. When viewing the payslip where this has occurred the correct amount of deduction has been applied and everything appears fine.
Anybody have any solutions for this as would like to rectify issue before next pay cycle

I have a downloaded version as a precaution only. Can’t remember when I last used it.
I use this approach for exactly the same issue you have alluded to, I don’t want to be uploading files and syncing back.
also sort of defeats the purpose of paying for a hosted service

New Version Crashing
Does anyone else have an issue with the new updated hosted version crash every 5 seconds?
It's taken me about 10 mins to get through 2 payroll employees so far.
Every time I hit tab it goes into (Non Responding)
Server issue
I am using Reckon Accounts hosted and it has been lagging for the past two days. Tech support tells me that there is an issue with a high usage on the server and they are trying to fix it. Cannot give me an eta as to when this will be fixed. What is going on ???. End of financial year this is a big inconvenience to the company. Anyone else having issues ??
