Re: ADJUSTING LEAVE ACCRUAL
It's perfectly fine to adjust the accrual rate to suit your needs in Reckon Payroll. Typically, the accrual rate is based on the annual entitlement, but if you need to modify the values, follow these steps:
- Go to the Employees section.
- Select the employee.
- Click on the Leave tab in the employee's record.
- Click Edit and make the necessary changes.
Hope this helps.

Re: Bank Payments - Reckon One (Reckon Payroll Payments Only)
@Lucas - Access has been granted
I will work on removing the actives ones
We do use Reckon Payroll and the automatically generated payments via Reckon One to create our ABA files - And I need that to continue to happen, so please ensure that feature doesn't get disabled.
Its just odd that these older payments that have been processed have reappeared
Re: Remove password protection on payslip -
Thank you, Rav
The password protection has been removed and I can now email the payslips to the respective employees
Re: Hotmail/Outlook
A challenge for you….I am not back at work until Friday, just so you don't think I am ignoring you
Re: Hotmail/Outlook
Hi Rav
We are experiencing the exact problem with Reckon not emailing payslips and we also received that email as well. I just saw you are looking in to it internally - i will watch this space! :)
Thanks Rav.

#TipTuesday - Useful info when working with Personal Plus or Home & Business 💁
For this week's #TipTuesday I've put together a couple of important tips when you're working with Personal Plus and/or Home & Business.
📁 Using your data file
Never work in, or use your data file that you created in OneDrive, Google Drive or any cloud based storage.
Make sure your data file is situated in the top of the root directory of C drive. I usually create a new folder, and call it Reckon Data. You can give the folder any name you like but its important that its in the top level of the C drive.
✍️ Keep your file name less than 8 characters
Another incredibly important tip is around your file name. Keep the name of your data files to 8 characters or less.
When you restore a backup it usually comes back with the date appended to your file name eg. Yourfilenamehere_20240923. I recommend that you rename it to a short name again so that its less than 8 characters in length.

Bank Payments - Reckon One (Reckon Payroll Payments Only)
Hi
We only use Reckon One for bank payments & payroll reporting as we use Reckon Payroll
In the last few weeks, transactions for a few older pay runs which have been processed and finalized (one being from 2023) are appearing in the Bank Payments as Payments to Be Made
How would I go about removing these?
I did attempt to create a file with them but that didnt work

Thank you, Jason and Tanvi for your quick replies. ☺️
Re: Why are there no suggested matches in my bank feed?
Hi Millswood_CC,
We might need to take a look at your book so we can check what's preventing it. I will send you a private message for your account details.
Best regards,
