Re: Print/email issues after upgrade to 2024
Hi SBPanak,
I'm glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue. Adjusting the permissions seems to have done the trick. And I don't see any issues doing this process.
Best regards,
Karren

Reckon Hosted - Annual Licence
I have a client using Reckon Premier - they are looking to upgrade to Hosted.
Can the one licence ($915 per year) be purchased and they can log in on any computer? Just one user. They are looking to semi retire and may need to log in away from the office
Thanks,
Re: Upgrading to 2024 and DB Fragments
my understanding of the defrag thing, and it goes back to early days where we did a manual defrag regularly, is that the drive itself is fragmented and so any large files that are saved on the drive can also be fragmented. I would have thought that a manual defrag of the drive through windows settings would be the place to start and nothing to do with the data file itself. Although I have read that the newer SSD drives are best left to Windows itself to control
Re: New super rate
Dear @Kris_Williams ,
The super rate change message is implemented into Reckon Accounts Hosted 2024. Very peculiar that it did not trigger.
Was the file recently updated? Or had it been updated previously, and you opened it?
Kind regards,

Re: Warranty Item from Supplier
Hi Kim
The system constantly re-calculates average cost based on the "total current cost / quantity in stock" of a stock Item at any given time.
If you have received $ 0 cost replacements for 2 of the original (faulty) batteries (as you should) then your current average cost should reflect this as you no longer have the original batteries you paid for - The cost of these would have been incorporated in the averages when held.
Here's an example:
You originally bought 100 batteries at $5 each. When you have 10 batteries left in stock, you order 100 more, but the price has gone up to $6 each.
RA/RAH calculates the average cost like this:
- Cost of your old stock is $50 (10 batteries x $5)
- Cost of new inventory is $600 (100 batteries x $6)
- Combined cost of old + new inventory = $650
- Average cost of your entire battery inventory is $5.91 ($650 / 110 batteries)

Re: Failure with draft pay runs…
Hi @CJT,
Sorry to hear you are experiencing a problem when marking the pay run as paid with the something went wrong messages.
Could you possibly send a screenshot of the exact error for me, please?
Are you currently using the latest version of the app?
What do you mean that you have another account and it works fine?
Have you recently made any changes?
Have you made previous pay runs within this book?
Please let me know and I will try my best to assist you.
Thank you and speak soon.
Cheers,
Lucas

Re: Failure with draft pay runs…
Hi @CJT,
I've just used Payroll web to mark your pay run as paid to see if an error is thrown, it appears to have gone through successfully for 29, May 2024.
Could you please let me know, if that was the specific pay run with the error?
Thank you.
Cheers,
Lucas

Re: Failure with draft pay runs…
Hi @CJT,
Do you have any other pay runs you need to complete other than the drafts already inside the book?
Could I suggest maybe uninstalling and reinstalling the app as there appears to be nothing wrong at the time when I mark as paid.
Thank you.
Cheers,
Lucas
