Re: Q and B drives have disappeared
this happened 2 hours before maintenance started, but only on one of my logins, so I was a bit freaked out. However I tried again at 10.04 and for a few brief moments it was all good so I felt relieved.
Re: Unrecoverable error after entering credit card into bills
Do you have a support ticket with us? Can you do a Verify / Rebuild / Verify and download the verify_rebuild_data.log, verify_rebuild_data.log.old1, verify_rebuild_data.log.old2, etc to your local PC.
The logs will helps us to identify the issue.
Thanks,

Re: RAH Spelling Option
From the Edit menu select Preferences
Can you view your Spelling preference settings and are they set to what you are expecting?
Click the Default button, then the OK button.
Now go and enter a transaction.
Confirm whether when you are entering a transaction and enter a mis-spelt word (test it by deliberately misspelling a simple word) and see whether it is being detected as such.
Add the correct spelling to the dictionary.
If after performing the action above, the problem remains then it may a problem with the Dictionary file that is on your Hosted account Q:\ drive. It may have been deleted or the file is corrupted.
There is a file called "UserDictionary.tlx"
It may be a problem within that file.
That UserDictionary.tlx file can be downloaded from the Hosted Q:\ drive to your local computer and then opened up in Windows Notepad (or other text editor) as it is just a plain text file, if you want to view its contents.
You could rename the existing file to "UserDictionary.tlx.old", then exit the Hosted application, then log out of the Hosted platform, then log back in.
This would force the application to start a fresh dictionary file.
This of course would mean that any custom words you may have added over the years with a specific spelling would be lost.
Consider making a copy of the existing dictionary file UserDictionary.tlx file is in the event that it is needed to be restored or further investigated.

Re: Unrecoverable error after entering credit card into bills
Hi @Selina,
To help us understand the background and more details of the issue.
When did the error occur?
Did it happen to any other company file?
When was the last time you go to transaction without experiencing a problem?
When was the last time you created a backup of your file at a time when there were no problems?
Thank you,
Nick

Re: Unrecoverable error after entering credit card into bills
Once you have done the data verification, Can you please take a look at the QBWIN.LOG? This will give us a clue on what is going on with your file.
Cheers.

📢 Important info - Changes to the Reckon Payroll sign in screen
Changes to the payroll.reckon.com sign-in screen
Hi everyone!
We just wanted to give you a heads up on some changes you may notice when signing in into Reckon Payroll.
From Thursday 19 September, if you sign-in to Reckon Payroll from https://payroll.reckon.com/ you’ll be automatically directed to our Reckon Portal screen at https://portal.reckon.com/ instead to sign-in.
What do I need to do?
It’s super simple! After you land on the Reckon Portal sign in screen just sign in with your existing Reckon Payroll credentials and you’ll access your Reckon Payroll book as normal. That’s it! It’s that easy 🙂
If you already access Reckon Payroll through portal.reckon.com rather than payroll.reckon.com then you won't need to do anything at all and won't notice any changes.
If you have https://payroll.reckon.com/ bookmarked, feel free to update your bookmark to https://portal.reckon.com/ however we’ll have an automatic redirection in place that takes you to the new login screen.
Why is the Reckon Payroll sign-in screen changing?
We’re bringing together and simplifying our sign in experience into one place for our users at portal.reckon.com.
The Reckon Portal sign in screen also supports MFA through an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, in addition to the pre-existing SMS option, for added flexibility around MFA.
Questions?
If you have any questions or trouble with signing in, please drop us a reply below and we’ll do our best to assist.
