    Hi Bill

on top of the report where the date range is there is also 'sort' change the default to name.

If this doesn't help, go to the customer list and sort the customer list then refresh the report

Thanks for the feedback.  There is no 'Name' in the default list - any other suggestion as to where to possibly adjust?
    Thanks

    Hi Bill,

By default, the Open Sales Order by Customer report would show the customer names in alphabetical order.

What is the name that you are adding?
Where in the report is it appearing?

Is the Customer Name you are referring to a top level/parent name or a sub-customer-job name?

Are you generating that report based on a "Memorised Report" or directly from the Reports | Sales menu?

    Click on the Customers menu

    Click on Customer Centre

In the Customers & Jobs tab, click on the Name column

    Now generate the report:

    Click on the Reports menu

    Click on Sales menu

Click on Open Sales Order by Customer
