    The usual copy paste shortcut of Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V works fine to copy & paste in Hosted. Is this not working for you?

    you can copy from hosted and then paste in hosted. you cannot copy from outside the browser and paste into the browser. the clipboard will only remember what it has from within the browser. There is an issue with the handoff between the local clipboard and the browser for some reason when using hosted.

    not true!!! really. this error has been proven on 4 different devices, on 4 different networks, and is a reported and known fault by Reckon, but if you say its not true then it obviously isnt. First reported in 2016 from what I can find. clipboard via mouse commands does not work as per normal when using Reckon Accounts Hosted. Once you do your first copy and paste, copy something else from the desktop and paste it into the browser. it still pastes the first copy. I suspect it is an issue to do with the handoff between the local machine and the remote desktop clipboard.

    It must be machine and system specific, what can i say.

    Like Gerry I have no problems cutting and pasting from other applications into Hosted. (You are correct that this was reported as an issue in 2016, but there have been a number of changes since then and, from my perspective, this problem has been fixed.)

    appreciate your comment Bruce, but if it was fixed, I wouldnt be wasting my time here complaining about it. What browser (inc version) and OS are you using and I will test it on another device at my end. Even Reckon told me it was an issue and to use Ctrl C and V instead of the mouse, which is not good enough. Basic functions should work.

    @Neville

    I've just run another test from text created in Notepad ie. outside RAH and copied it using your preferred method via the right click command to copy & then right click again to paste into Hosted. Hopefully my screencast comes through ok below.

    As @Bruce has mentioned, there has been changes made to this area a few years ago which made copy and paste more straightforward rather than having to deal with an in-software clipboard as a go-between. I'm not sure why its not working for you at this stage. Perhaps you can provide some specific information on the steps you are going through and compare it to the steps in my recording.

    @Neville I’m not sure if it’s the same in all browsers but in IE, when you open the company file, there’s a pop up that asks if you want to allow access to the clipboard - This will determine if copy & paste is enabled:

    I know this is an old post but I too cannot copy and paste in Hosted which is frustrating.

    I have read the comments that Rav & Gerry can, but would like to know how to allow webpage to access my clipboard?

    I am using Hosted from Firefox, so opened Hosted in Edge and still cannot copy and paste?

    I am trying to copy and paste reference numbers between Excel and into Hosted, or Bank sites into Hosted.

    Hi @Barbara Allen-Guthrie

    I’m not sure about Firefox or Edge as I always use Google Chrome these days but have you tried Ctrl + C to copy then Ctrl + V to paste ?

    Sorry I should have mentioned that Yes that is what I do all the time, and then reading comments I even tried the mouse commands. I thought I might have to unlock something in Hosted, but was not sure where or what or how.
