migration of data

Very disappointed I have been quoted a charge of .35 to .50 cents per transaction for moving from reckon accounts to reckon one when you advertise free data migration. This is false advertising and poor service. I have been a customer for 20 years and this is how you treat loyalty.

    Hi Cramich,

The most seamless migration/upgrade path for a Reckon Account desktop product is to the Reckon Accounts Hosted platform. That would allow you to upload your existing company data file (QBW) to the Hosted platform and open the file which will undergo the upgrade process and retains all your existing historical information.

The free migration offer to Reckon One covers Lists.

*Free standard conversion only includes chart of accounts list, item list (inventory quantities on hand are not included), customer list, supplier list and employee list (name and address only).

Additional cost and a custom conversion quote will be provided if the combined total of the lists contain more than 500 records,

    or

Additional cost and a custom conversion quote will be provided) if converting summary balances (account, customer or supplier), employee payroll setup, employee YTD balances,

    or

(Additional cost and a custom conversion quote will be provided) if converting transactions (open, unpaid or closed invoice, bills, cheques, payments, paycheques, journals, etc.).

If there are current/open/outstanding transactions such as invoices and bills, that you would want recreated in Reckon One, these would incur a fee.
