Hi everyone,
I wanted to provide a breakdown and update on some known issues that we're currently aware of in the Payroll App which our teams are working on to resolve.
2020/21 Pay Summary not appearing in employee profile **RESOLVED**
We've received reports that the 2020/21 Pay Summary option is not appearing in employee profiles. We have been able to replicate this and this is attributed to a display and data fetching issue.
Our teams are aware of this and are preparing a solution for both this and the employee YTD editing issue outlined below.
This has been resolved with Payroll App update v2.11.10. More info HERE.
Editing 2020/21 employee Year to Date balances **RESOLVED**
We are aware that currently attempting to amend employee Year to Date balances in the 'Initial YTD' tab in an employee profile for the 2020/21 financial year is currently not working as expected. The cause of this issue is related to the Pay Summary issue outlined above.
Our teams are looking to establish a solve for this urgently as we understand how important this function is in preparation for End of Financial Year finalisations.
The current outlook is that we're looking to roll out a fix to web access of the Payroll App tomorrow afternoon pending the results of testing. A new build/update of the Payroll App will also be prepared which will undergo testing and approval before its released. At this stage, we're looking at early next week for the app update.
This has been resolved with Payroll App update v2.11.10. More info HERE.
Terminated employees appearing in End of Financial Year finalisation **RESOLVED**
There are some reported cases where an employee who has been terminated in the STP app in a previous financial year is then appearing in the 2020/21 EOFY finalisation in the Payroll App following successful migration to the Payroll App. Specifically, an employee who has not had any active balance or been part of any submissions for the 2020/21 financial year eg. terminated during the 2019/20 financial year for example.
Our teams are currently investigating the specifics of these cases and are we're looking to implement functionality that will allow you to remove these employees. The timeframe for this fix is unclear at this stage but will be updated pending results of further investigation.
