Reckon Accounts Hosted login issue - Didn't get connection settings
Hi everyone
We're currently looking into an issue affecting the ability to login to Reckon Accounts Hosted.
Reports indicate a "Didn't get connection settings" error message is appearing during login attempts after entering your credentials.
Our Hosted team is investigating this at the moment and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this is causing at the moment.
I hope to have more information from our devs very soon which I'll update here.

Mine is doing this error, however on the other computer it is fine? Any tech support can help?

Hope so.. 3 of my users have now been able to login (2 are still unable) but it is running quite slow.... Relieved to know its not only me.

Same Issue, HOWEVER, Chrome Browser- No Good. OPERA Browser- No Good.
BUT, Microsoft Edge is working and connects for me. On the same computer.

I had no luck with Microsoft Edge on the same computer either. :-(

Good morning, i try to log in as usual on reckon accounts hosted. When i hit launch accounts 2002 R2 an error pops up "Didn't get connection settings" Is there anything i can do to rectify this?

Do you have an update on this please? We have the sam issue, we have five logins, only one is working. I can't believe tech support doesn't open until 8.30am :-(

Hi everyone
I've moved your posts over to this main one so you receive notification of updates as I post them here.
Investigations are continuing into determining the cause of this issue as we speak.
Unfortunately it looks to be a widespread issue at the moment rather than anything specific to a certain browser. I've tested out logging in using Chrome, Firefox, Edge & Samsung browers however no luck 😟.
Restoring access to Hosted is top priority for us right now and rest assured our teams are on the case.
Stay tuned for more info, I'll post here as soon as I receive it from our devs.

I am trying to sign into Reckon Hosted and I am receiving this message. I have tried from Chrome and from Opera. I have also checked the Reckon status and it says no incidents. Any ideas.

We are getting the same message on all three computers.
Any idea when this would be fixed?? It is payroll day here and I have a lot of staff starting to stress.

It's probably no coincidence that Microsoft also released a major update release last night!

I log in, click on LAUNCH ACCOUNTS 2022 R2, a new window opens and displays "Didn't get connection settings" in plain text.
I have cleared browsing data history and try to log in again and receive the same error.
Any ideas please?

Hi all
Is anyone else experiencing this message: Didn't get connection settings Reckon hosted was running and stopped. Reckon support phone is cutting off before being answered. We have logged a support ticket as there is no way to contact Reckon. Hope it doesnt last long

** UPDATE **
Hi everyone
Our dev teams have put a fix in place which will hopefully resolve this issue. It will take approximately 20-30 minutes to propagate across the full Hosted network environment.
The recommendation is that you logout of Hosted entirely (use the Logout option on the Dashboard screen) and try logging in again after approximately 9:10 - 9:15am (AEDT).
