    I am on Premium Payroll App. Do I need to finish EOFY summaries before switching over to the STP2 program or am I able to switch now before the end of the financial year and final payments are lodged?

    Have you completed the STP Phase 2 Checklist? Info below if you haven't seen it already -

    In regard to making the switch, ultimately its up to you as the Payroll App is ready to go now with STP Phase 2 compliance so if you'd like to make the jump now you're more than able to. You'll just need to complete the STP Phase 2 checklist first.

    Alternatively, if you'd like to keep things simple and more clear cut you could, complete the checklist now if you haven't already and then start STP Phase 2 from the new financial year coming up. Any pay runs that you create with a pay date of 1 July or after will need to be under STP Phase 2 requirements.
