When I have tried to upgrade to STP2, I notice my Book Name is blank and this is preventing me from moving forward, how can I resolve this?

    Hi Deb

Just wanted to get back to you on this. The fix for this issue was applied to Reckon Payroll yesterday.

Can you let me know if you're able to access it (properly) when you next get a chance?

    Cheers

    Hi Deb

Does that field allow you to click into it? ie. to type something in or is it completely disabled?

Also, are you the owner of this Reckon One book or has it been shared with you? If its been shared, do you have the administrator or payroll administrator role?

    Hi Rav,

I have administrative access and that field is completely disabled.

    Hi Deb

I think this should be a relatively straightforward fix for you which I'll outline below. In the Reckon One book settings (Settings ➡ Book Settings ➡ Check your ABN and branch fields).

Check that there are no spaces in your ABN and also the relevant branch number is entered. If you don't have a specific branch number for your ABN, the default is 001. Check out my screenshot example below.

Once you've corrected these fields in your Reckon One book settings, please launch Reckon Payroll and it should load up correctly for you.

Let me know how you get on.

    Hi Rav,

Ok, I changed the settings for the ABN and removed the spaces, but that didn't flow through to Reckon Payroll, I was able to map all the pay items and successfully switched to STP2, but now I can't process a payrun and I think that is due to the fact Payroll is showing as undefined, eg

The Company Details in Payroll are:

As I process the pays tonight, I will do this manually and await your response.

    Hi Deb

What is happening specifically when you try to create a pay run? Are you encountering an error message? If so, what is it and where is it appearing?

Secondly, I've sent through an access request to the Reckon One book so we can take a closer look at this on our end. Its an automated email that will go to the owner of the Reckon One book, all they'll need to do is review the request and click the button in the email to grant access.

If you can let me know when that has been completed that'd be great.

    Hi Rav,

You should now have the access.

    Hi Deb

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we've hit a snag in the release today so we've had to hit pause on it going out. Its been rescheduled for Monday and the team are very confident it'll be out then and I'll keep you updated.

Apologies for the hassle its causing you at the moment.
