Directors Fees STP2

Hi everyone

Can someone please help me out with a step by step process on how to add & process Directors Fees in the new STP2?

    Hi Vanessa_10085275

    In the new Reckon Payroll, there is an option to add a new Earning Type called Director's Fee as shown in the screenshot below. All you need to do is go to Settings> Pay Item> Create Pay item>Earnings> Earning Type>

    Once created, you can then attach it to the employee's Pay Setup or add this to your pay run.

    Do I use wage as new payroll item type?

    My payroll items are completely different to your screen!

    This post has been created in the Payroll Premier upgrade to Reckon Payroll category however based on your screenshot it looks like you're using Reckon Accounts or Reckon Accounts Hosted, is that correct?

    I'll move your post over to the right place 🙂 Just as a side note, for info on which category to select when creating a post on the Community click here - I need to create a post.. which category do I select?


    Ok, with that out of the way, when it comes to Reckon Accounts you will need to select the first option as the payroll item type for an earnings item. Director's Fees now has its own specific tax tracking type under STP Phase 2 which you'll find in the Tax Tracking Type selection -

    Do I select items as per below screenshots? Am I setting this up correctly?
