Error Code Crashing Accounts Hosted

Hey Guys!

I am currently having an odd issue occur with Reckon. Within use of the software, mainly entering/paying bills, writing cheques, and completing reconciliations, I keep having error codes appear which require the immediate restart of the Reckon software.

In doing this, it is wiping a majority of the entries completed in the hour or more prior.

I have tried restarting my computer, clearing cookies, and using an alternative browser, however nothing seems to be working. This error has been occurring for the last 2 days, and is progressively getting more frequent.

If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Experiencing a crash does indicate a problem with your data file.

When was the last time in your recollection that there were no such problems occurring?

When was the last time you had initiated the creation of a backup file using the built-in backup function of the Reckon Accounts Hosted application?

How often do you normally create a backup?

How large is your company data file (QBW)?

Recommend you engage with the Hosted Technical Support Team if needed, as they can assist you with the steps below.

Here are steps we recommend that you perform to backup the data file regularly.

A regular backup can minimise the impact of an unforeseen crash.

It is important that before a backup is created, that it first undergo a file integrity test.

Either manually via the built-in Verify Data function, or via the 'complete verification' option being enabled in the Backup preference settings)

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Regarding the error message, have you tried Rebuild and Verify of the Data File. This can happen if there is an issue with the Data File.
