Invoice Layout - can it be customised? Can the layout be designed to suit my business brand?

Can the invoice layout be changed? I'm not a fan of the 'notes' section showing up directly next to the total amounts due, it looks clunky.

Is there any way to personalise the invoice?

I'd like to add colour top and bottom and a little 'Thank you for your business!' on the footer but can't see any options to do this?

Absolutely! It's more customisable than any other software … this is what mine looks like:

You can edit , add or remove any fields, columns, boxes, borders, fonts, colours, styles, logo etc … the possibilities are endless !!! ☺️

Kris and Acctd4 (Shaz), I must have a different account set up or subscription. I googled all the how to's but the screenshots that show the 'template' tabs etc. look nothing like the screen I have to choose from. Especially in your screenshot Kris - I feel mine is like a generic brand compared to your 'name brand' screen!

I'm wondering if I have to 'add' products to be able to do what you've shown above because that is definitely what I am looking for.

@PaperbackProofread You’ve posted in the Reckon Accounts Hosted category but I’m wondering if you’re actually using Reckon One ?
I don’t work with R1 ( @Kris_Williams might ?) but the customisation options are definitely much more limited & basic in R1 😬

Thank you both! It may already be obvious (!!!) but this is the first time I'm using accounting software - ever -and from the ground up. I think I've now found the Reckon One group - as opposed to this which is the Reckon Accounts Hosted.

I do wonder what the difference is, in programming and products and price, as the RAH seems to have more complex and pliable features.

I do appreciate your guidance, now I can try and find the Reckon One specific group.

Reckon Hosted is by far the superior product, but also comes with a superior price, if you have any specific questions about hosted you’re welcome to call me. I have used this product since the 80’s when it was actually called Quickbooks and I don’t use anything else.

Thanks Kris! Yes the price difference is considerable. I'm on the special offer pricing with Reckon One (at $10 p/mth for six months) as opposed to $79 p/m for hosted. The difference in being able to formulate invoices that reflect my brand going forward - with the price to pay - I will need to think about.

Truly appreciate your help, this did answer my question!

You definitely get what you pay for with the price difference though.
Reckon Accounts Hosted (RAH) is the top version of Reckon Accounts (RA) & has every available feature of the Reckon Accounts range including full template customisation, Cash & Accrual options, class tracking, full payroll (with time tracking/Timesheets), customer orders, purchase orders, job costing, price levels, units of measure, quotes, industry-specific reporting, multi-currency, multi-company reporting. & more.
RA actually has the most superior searching & reporting capability of any accounting software - It has the ability to search for ANYTHING & turn any search in a customisable report ☺️

If you wanted to check it out, you can always sign-up for a 30-day trial.

I specialise exclusively in RA/RAH so feel free to get in touch direct, if you decide to go down that path ☺️

For Reckon One, here is an older video about adding logo's to an invoice.

You can also consider using 'pre-printed' paper that already has the colors and logo on it if the current customisation options in Reckon One does not yet allow it.

As per Kris and Shaz, the Reckon Accounts Hosted application does have a greater level of customisability.
