Where do I find my Software ID in Reckon Payroll?
Getting started with Reckon Payroll and STP submissions?
Registering your Software ID with the ATO is a crucial step for Single Touch Payroll submissions and must be completed prior to your first STP submission being sent.
Its really easy to find your Software ID in Reckon Payroll and we've put together step by step instructions below 🙂
⚠️ Please note: If you send any STP submissions before registering your Software ID they will return an error from the ATO and will not be processed.
1️⃣ Select the Settings option from the menu
2️⃣ Next, select Software ID from the list
3️⃣ Your unique Software ID will be listed along with instructions to register your Software ID with the ATO.
4️⃣ Once the ATO have confirmed your Software ID has been registered successfully, click the I've registered my Software ID button to update your Reckon Payroll book to Registered status.
