Inventory Assembly sub item

Is it possible to have an inventory item which consists of several inventory parts within the bill of materials and add another inventory item (also made up of several inventory parts) to the original assembly item. Thanks

    Is this something you have already attempted and encountered a problem with, or you have not yet tried it?

    When describing the problem, ensure you are clear about the terminology regarding the problem you are describing. There are different types of items such as Service, Inventory Part, Inventory Assembly or other item type.

    It may also be useful describe what you have already attempted, any issues you have encountered or to add a screenshot or sketch.

    The screenshot above shows the creation of a new item of type Inventory Assembly.

    There you can add the different components that make up that assembly, which can include another existing Inventory Assembly item.

    For other purposes, you may need to consider using a Group item type.
