Re: how do i install my latest soft ware

To have the latest software installed, please follow the steps mentioned below -
- Go to Reckon Members Portal at Reckon Members Site
- Login using your Customer ID and PIN
- Click on New Installation Key, Select the version and Product
- Have the link download for the Software and install using the IKC Provided.

Re: Account Enquiry Report showing Description?
We are new to Reckon One and I've have been looking for a way to print reports that include the Description field. We need reports that include Description for our accountant to work from for end of quarter/end of year adjustments and for any returns/warranty claims as the Description is where what was purchased is noted.
It is hard to believe that Reckon One does not have this functionality. It's a basic necessity for any business that needs to review past transactions for whatever reason.
If there is any way that it can be done, please advise. Otherwise, I can only urge Reckon One to add it as soon as possible.

I do have a little bit of good-ish news to share @PCsforKids
As you may have seen we just released a pretty significant update for Reckon One today (details HERE). That release carried some pretty large performance improvements along with some foundational work for the issue with reports.
Now that the release is out, this allows the team to deploy a hotfix for the issue with reports that you're currently contending with. The release for this is actually scheduled for today but that could be subject to change without notice so I'll confirm with you if/when its out later in the day.
Hang in there! I know its been a little while coming now and you've been super patient and I can't emphasis how much the team appreciates that. Apologies again though for the hassle its caused.

Reckon One has received an update today which adds a couple of highly requested features along with squashing a few annoying bugs.
Check out details of the inclusions in this update below!
✨ Bounce back email notification
Reckon One users will now receive a notification email when an email you've sent from Reckon One such as an invoice for example, has bounced back from the intended recipient. This is a really handy feature addition that allows you to stay on top of any emails that could not be delivered.
The bounce back email will be sent to the email address listed in your Reckon One book settings under Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Book Settings ➡️ Reply-to Email Address
✨ Multi-line description field in invoices
A highly requested enhancement is the ability for the description field to support line breaks, or multiple lines. This is now available in the description field when you create an invoice in Reckon One!
Line breaks will be accurately displayed in the final printed or emailed invoice PDF which ensures added clarity and detail when formatting an invoice.
✨ Transaction Line Items report on cash basis
A fix has been applied for the Transaction Line Items report failing to load in cash basis and resulting in An error occurred while processing your request error message appearing.
The Transaction Line Items report will now generate successfully when using cash basis in your Reckon One book.
✨ Performance improvements
Some of our Reckon One users were experiencing various performance issues such performing a bank transfer, creating timesheets, loading reports filtered by date etc.
We've added fixes to address the majority of these issues so performance should largely be back to normal. We're continuing to look at a couple of areas around reports for which another fix release will follow shortly.

Re: Deleting uploaded excel and pdf files from MyLive (Q drive)
Completely understand where you're coming from @Therese R
The Hosted toolbar can only support single item selection so unfortunately you won't be able to select multiple items within the window.
A workaround you could look at though is to create a new folder in your Q drive and drag any of the files you wish to delete into that folder. Once you've moved them all into the folder you can just delete the folder. Dragging files is a bit easier and it should save some a bit of time and clicks from selecting and deleting each single file along with confirming the delete.

It's unfortunate to hear this feature still isn't available. It's something I feel should be implemented.
