running batches through BEAM clearing house
Hello, If I am using the BEAM clearing house and pay Super Guarantee payments quarterly, can I run a batch before the quarter expires and leave the batch in the "awaiting payment" status, or do I need to wait for the end of the quarter before I can proceed to run the batch and send the payment so that BEAM has all the pay runs for the quarter? I am anticipating that I may have some errors I have to fix when I click "validate". Can I run the batch before the end of the quarter so these can be fixed. I'm new to using the BEAM clearing house so I'm uncertain on the finer details. Thanks

Yes , i think i know what application you are referring to, Cosmic does bulk uploads say 40 bills in one go and bulk edit on one screen , and scan multiple complex line items and ,many more features
Also we hold all pdfs for down load and review on cloud not Google sheet which goes into another screen.
if you are keen you can try as its free for Trial registration 100 bills . No monthly subscription buy in bulk till finished.

Thanks for your response. I had a look at your website and looks good but might be a bit expensive compared to my current system. Love to know the additional benefits of yours? The program i've been using does 10,000 pdf pages for $300.

Hi all,
I run a bookkeeping company specialising in supermarket clients, where we manage high volumes of bills across multiple departments. Recently, I came across an AI integrator compatible with Reckon that reads and allocates bills by department and cost, and it seems quite effective and cheap. The bills are automatically stored into google drive and I can now access the bill via Reckon - The program also tells me if there are bills with the same invoice # already in there.
Does anyone know of other AI integrators for Reckon that offer similar functionality or even additional features? I’d appreciate any recommendations or experiences you could share.

You can check this KB here as to why the Backup is not showing in the Backup log in the Dashboard. You can follow the work around provided and to prevent this from happening.

Reckon Personal Plus 2022 - FREEZES
I am new to the Reckon Community and this is my first post, so I hope I can explain my problem clearly enough, and would welcome any advice.
I first started using Quicken / Reckon in May 2002.
Since that time, I have recorded EVERY financial transaction across personal accounts, loans, credit cards, investments, trust structures, SMSF arrangements, etc. As a result, I have recorded thousands of entries across 117 accounts established over the years.
Of those accounts, 39 are still active today. The problem I am experiencing is that the file FREEZES almost every time it is used now. When it does freeze, it precludes me from looking at any other software I have open (web browser, Microsoft Outlook, anything !!). This is only remedied by opening Task Manager and "ending the Reckon task" - ie: forcibly shutting the program down. The other programs then work as they should.
I'm finding that Reckon is freezing more and more often and if I am entering 2-3 days of transactions, I may have to forcibly shut down the program 5-6 times before I have entered all entries.
I don't know how to remedy this, but have a couple of suggestions if I knew this was an option and the process on how to do it: - Is it possible to "purge" entries that are say more than 4 years old? If so, this would take opening account balances for nominated accounts as at say 1st July 2020 and retain entries after that date only, thus reducing the "history" and therefore file size. Is this feasible and/or possible?
Are there any other recommendations?
By way of information: The Reckon Account file size is currently 37.646 Mb.
I am running it on Windows 11, version 23H2 The Desktop is branded Lenovo with 3.2Tt of storage and 16Gb of RAM
This is really frustrating now and I would love a solution !!!

Thanks so much for the detailed info @crewmark. We'll need to keep a pretty close eye on this I think.
If you have the need to create another employee soon, can I get you to try to do so in Reckon Payroll directly first and let us know if you still continue to run into trouble.

Thanks for raising an interesting topic.
Out of curiousity, was it a case of functionality within Reckon Accounts Desktop not being able to action the requirements of the user within the software itself that initiated their consideration of moving away or was it a case of the functionality existing but it was a high level of workload for the individual user?

HI Shaz - thank you for your response! I believe we do use the Outlook app. My younger go to person just left her employment here so I am on my own (not a good thing). I am a bookkeeper and just want to turn things on and do my work.
When sending statements, I am saving the few I know can't receive them as pdf and sending them individually. It works. I guess I will continue with this, and hope the 2025 upgrade fixes all. I have only had this problem since the Microsoft upgrade in Sept.
