I know it's been a very long day contending with this and I do apologise again for the trouble it's caused.

We believe we've isolated where the root cause of the issue is stemming from. Our teams are working on developing a solution that will address this in full.

I can't provide an ETA just yet but I'll post this along with any other information that comes to hand as soon as I have it.

Reckon One performance issues (15 March)

Hi everyone,

We're currently investigating reports of performance issues in Reckon One. Initial observations show that accessing various pages are loading much slower than normal. We've also noted that in some cases, the menu options may not load correctly.

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience and frustration this is causing at the moment. More info and updates to follow.

Just as a general update for everyone. We're continuing to investigate to determine the root cause of this issue.

Just adding to the above, there are a number of file maintenance tasks that you're able to action yourself to get your file in tip top condition. I'll add a few resources below which are handy ways to ensure youre getting the best performance out of your file.

Trying out the above might save you a bit of time in not having access to your file etc while a data service is carried out etc.

Thanks. Have resolved the issue. It was trying to use a variable tax rate but was not accepting. Will achieve the result in another way

I haven't tried to do the pay run using the option to enter pay items manually. I wonder if this will make a difference?

Update…I just noticed that the box you indicated in the example above wasn't ticked in my settings. I will update it now and see if that makes a difference next pay run.

Hi Rav, thanks for the quick response. I don't believe they do integrate so therefore I currently manually enter the details into Reckon myself (labour intensive)

I haven't looked into BetterHQ, I will now though. Thank you

Reckon One allows you to create Pay Templates which give you the ability to create specialised templates linked to an employee agreement which hold classifications. The pay template uses classifications defined in the agreement.
