How to repair corrupt files - Payroll Premier 2007/2008

Hello, I am running Payroll Premier 2007-2008. While processing this week's payroll; the program stopped responding and crashed. When I go to open the program, a message comes up saying "the data file is corrupt or not a valid Quicken payroll version 6 or later data file. I am not able to open the program. Is there anyway to access the program; I need to process our wages as soon as possible?

Hi Julie,
You need to go to C:\Program Files\QPRollVxx\Data and delete the file called qcompany.tps.
Then when you reopen payroll premier it will ask you to select which file to open.
You can try opening your file again, but it is unlikely to work.
You will need to restore an old backup.
So you can follow this link:

You can also try this:
