2015 personal plus doesnt open, file prompt box" the current user does not have priviledges to open

2015 personal plus doesnt open the file prompt box say " the current user does not have priviledges to open this data file' I think my computer installed some microsoft updates, and now won't open quicken files

    try right clicking on the QDF file and select 'open with'. If reckon accounts launcher doesn't pop up browse for QBW32 in C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\Reckon Accounts 2014. Then tick the always use the selected program box and hit OK.  If that doesn't open it I don't know what to suggest other than reinstalling.

    Adding to the list of solutions for this problem I have found that running the software as an administrator would fix the problem.

    You may need to re-register the software so you can call our toll-free number on 1300 650 061 to get this done.
