import cba bank info to quicken, INCLUDING categories on bank statement

How do I import CBA bank categories with amounts , suppliers to quicken home 2013. I started a new file and imported CBA info, but no categories are listed- I have imported 600 entries, so BIG job to manually categorize.
If it is possible to do , will I have to delete all existing entries first, also a BIG job

When i Import a qif fiile from commbank into Quicken I have no categories.

Ian do you think so? They are restricted by what the banks will allow. They dont write the qif files

Kevin, why wouldn't the banks allow details? CBA allows csv. details download.
