Simplified BAS not working on Mac

Once again it is BAS time and should be very simple, We operate on a Mac, Every time we run the BAS report we go into configure and select the correct dates and OK. then click on refresh. Next the building report green bar starts and takes around 90second to go all the way across but then nothing happens. Sometimes after 15-30min the window just goes away with no BAS showing or the home screen says "not responding". This happens every time we run the BAS report but normally after 4 or 5 attempts of completely logging out again and closing down the browser and then re logging in we can get the bas report to come up.

This time after 2 days of attempts we have given up. Please help

Hi Justin

What your describing is "normal".

On any platform, when you create a new BAS you need to configure and select the correct dates and OK.

When building the report, The BAS Lodgement form actually opens in a separate window. When it is done creating, select again the Simplified BAS option as if you are about to run the report again and it should be there ready with the information populated.

Check the config again set the year to 2016.

Justin, if the year is in fact correct in the Config settings, also check that the BAS labels have been configured with the relevant tax codes. Also try pressing Ctrl PgUp when your BAS form doesn't appear; that should bring it forward if it is hidden behind.

Thanks Larissa, This worked this time, but a lot of the time it comes up as not responding and the only thing we can do is close it all down and start again.
