    Hi Zanif

Unfortunately we are unable to directly support QBFC in Australia, and support the QBXML level API only.

Can you please define what you mean by a custom line item and we will be able to help further with how you can achieve this in QBXML

    Thanks

    Hi Simon

I want to create an invoice with an Item that is not yet been created or used before.

Whereby I will have to define the item's name, description, Price, Tax Type and the unit price when creating an invoice.

    Thanks
    Zaanif

    Hi Zaanif,

Unfortunately because of the structure of the API, the item does need to exist before you are able to apply an invoice to it.

However you can actually batch calls together in QBXML, you would just need to ensure that the item you wish to add, is the first XML call in the request

    Hope that makes sense

    Thanks

    Hi Zaanif,

Yes, you can create items on the fly, but you will need to provide some information that need to exist in Reckon (ie, accounts)

    Thanks,
