Hourly rate is incorrect on Employee Contact List report

We have modified the Employee Contact List report to include the Hourly Rate field.

However the hourly rate that is being reported is not correct for every employee.

Sometimes it is reporting an overtime rate or another rate but not their hourly rate.

What data is Reckon pulling from to report the Hourly Rate (I do not see an hourly rate specific field in the employee payroll section) and how can we correct this error so that the hourly rate is reported accurately?

Thank you

Hi Gemma.  How are you inputting the value for wages into Reckon within the Employee's Payroll and Compensation Info tab  - annual salary, weekly salary, fortnightly salary or something else?  I can be more specific when I know that answer.

    Thanks John.

The earnings are entered as an hourly rate against an item code.

    E.g.

Item Code #1: 20.00 (hourly rate)
Item Code #2: 35.00 (overtime rate)
Item Code #3: 40.00 (night rate)

Depending on their agreement, employees could have multiple item codes.

    Does that help?

    Hi Gemma and John

Im also interested to know how "Hourly Rate" pulls data onto the Employee Contact List.

Earnings 1/Rate and Earnings 2/Rate are showing the correct rates, but Hourly Rate is blank in a couple of instances.

    Thanks
