    Hi Shaun

In the Personal Range of prouducts you need to have the Home & Business version (not Personal Plus - next product up).  They are called "TAGS" not classes but same thing.  If you have tags set up you can find the list under TOOLS menu.

    Tell me about tagging transactions

Tags provide an additional way of classifying transactions in Reckon Accounts.

For example, you can use tags to group transactions for a specific event such as a vacation. Just create a tag called vacation, and tag all the applicable transactions accordingly. Later, to see the total cost of your vacation, you can customise a report such as the transaction report to include transactions with the vacation tag.

If you purchased Reckon Accounts Home & Business, Reckon Accounts includes a specialised type of tag called a business tag. Business tags show you the income, expense, and deduction information for a business. See how tags work with businesses for more information.

What can I do with tags? Regards, Robyn Kelly

    Hi Robyn,
    Thanks for your reply.
The asset class I mentioned above is asset class of security/shares. Is there any way to get around it in Personal Plus 2018?

Sorry Shaun....... two completley different things.

Security List & Edit the security you are wanting to change.  Be mindful some people are having issues with share prices not updating if Asset Class is not Australian Stocks, but see what happens

    Regards, Robyn

    Hi Diver Dave,
    Thanks for your reply.
Yes, Security Types can be edited or added. But Asset Class seems to be pre-defined, can not be
    changed at all. See picture.

Good morning Diver Dave, You are right. Using "Security Type" rather than "Asset Class" would produce the same outcome.
Is there a maximum you can add to the security type? When I tried to add a new one recently, there was message saying"All security type in use". And I could not add any more.
