INTEGRATED APPLICATION WITH REVOKED CERTIFICATE

I am using QB2007/08 and QPOS - yes it is very old but normally works just fine for our needs.
Suddenly we are unable to POST transactions from QPOS to QB's because - the Integrated Application certificate has been revoked. 
I have gone into the Integrated Application section in Preferences and have tried to re-authorise the program.
The only solution the system offers is to contact the developer who no longer support the product.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
