Add the class to an item in setup

Would like the ability to add the class to the item when setting up (as per select account) so this is an automatic entry on entering invoices and bills

    I can see where you're coming from but I think it's unlikely that this will happen .....

    Although assignable to most transactions, Classes actually only relate (eg are reportable) for income & expenses which - if an item is set up posted to any other account type - wouldn't work. 

    Additionally, for those who don't use Inventory but instead use generic Items on their Sales forms, this would also be problematic as the Class may be different for different transactions.

    Having said that, Reckon do have an Wish List Ideas page that impacts feature development so you could add it there:

    Click on Help (along top toolbar) > Suggest New Features
