Error messages and program closing down when I try to open saved reports


I tried to do what I do at the end of every month by using a saved report for the previous month to construct a report for this month, changing the date range etc and I can't. A large message appears with Error e.g 6996 and advising to send the error to Reckon so they can solve the problem. Then the program closes. I did this several times with different error messages coming up. Rang support this morning and the guy I spoke to got me to re do the super validation & changing file name but it's still happening. I'm using Windows 10 inside my Mac using VM ware. Never had this problem before and have used all versions of Reckon for past 24 years. Help
